c1860.
Constructed from satinwood. With the most lovely figuring and outstanding colour and glowing richness to the timbers.
Having an inset green leather gold-tooled writing surface, over nine satinwood drawers framed with mahogany, which contrasts beautifully with the lighter satinwood. The drawers are of dove-tail construction and are mahogany lined. With all original locks and escutcheons present.
Retaining the original turned handles.
In excellent antique condition. The leather is new.
Standing on the original castors. The desk doesn`t dismantle, so is one piece.
