George 1st small chest of drawers circa 1715, rare sweet size only 25 inches wide, most chests of this size are converted commodes but this one isn’t,the whole chest is made of oak including drawer linings, dust sheets, runners, back boards, the drawers retains its original brass handles and iron locks with early hand cut dovetails , the chest has a wonderful medullary ray figuring to the grain , the chest is in very good condition with shrinkage gaps to the sides and a small split on the top left hand side .
