The use of contrasting boxwood stringing, the beautifully finished concave front and the particularly inventive shaping of the superstructure are all signs of very high quality design and, when coupled with the reeded legs which are known to have been used on many pieces by Gillows, it is highly likely that they were the makers of this fine piece of furniture. The finely chosen veneers and quality brassware, including fine original castors, are also typical of the firm's output.
This fine table would grace any room in the modern home and is both attractive and practical.
