A very pretty solid mahogany Georgian Period knee hole desk surviving from around c1760 and of diminutive stature.
 
Standing on lovely original bracket foot above are 3 short drawers to either side and a large centre drawer all with original brass swan neck handles & Backplates , below this is a secret drawer and a lockable cupboard.
 
A lovely solid mahogany one piece top.
 
With Graduating oak lined drawers , the grain running front to back as is in keeping with a genuine piece of Georgian and pre Georgian Furniture , small repair to the top
 
This classically designed Desk is structurally sound and of superior quality being Mahogany and oak lined.
 
Original ageing and Patina is present throughout this item.
 
This item is offered in very good Country House condition, it has original wear and tear throughout, which gives this piece its own unique character.
