Victorian Landscape Oil Painting With Coach And Horses

A fine and decorative Victorian oil on canvas landscape scene featuring a coach and horses. The work is dominated by a large tree but there is great detail in the road running behind and over a bridge, with a coach and horses and various figures, whilst sheep stand on the bank of the river to the foreground. The work does not appear to be signed. The painting is in good untouched condition with some browning to the varnish and it has been lined quite some time ago. The frame which retains the original gilding is the original and in great untouched condition. A fine decorative period landscape painting with a great English country house look. C.1850.
