Description

This impressive brass firescreen is decorated in a manner often associated with the Arts and Crafts Movement. Galleons rolling on stylised waves can be found on many items from this period, such as copper chargers by John Pearson. It's in good original condition with a pleasing surface patina. Even though academically it falls outside the parameters of the Arts and Crafts Movement it would definitely sit comfortably with other items from this period, or within many different decorative interiors.
