This is an antique Tarbriz Carpet dating from around 1930. The finely woven carpet has a very pretty design with a triple lozenge set within a flower filled field and has a triple flower border. The carpet has a lovely colour palette with coral and warm red featuring strongly as well as indigo and ivory. This carpet is in excellent condition with good ends and selvedges and looks well down on the floor.
