The selections span various historical revivals, frequently drawing on Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian interpretations of earlier cabinet-making traditions.
You find pedestal desks, bureau bookcases, and compact writing tables among the offerings, constructed primarily during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

Antique Style Desk: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I identify a bureau?
A bureau typically has a hinged writing flap that pulls down to reveal small drawers and letter slots.
When closed, the slanted lid conceals your workspace to keep the room tidy.
Where should I place a pedestal desk?
Pedestal desks look best freestanding in the centre of a room or anchored against a study wall.
Because many feature finished backs, placing them outward showcases the timber grain and construction.
What is an escritoire?
An escritoire is a compact writing cabinet, often standing on slender legs with a drop-front writing surface.
These pieces offer dedicated writing space without occupying the floor area of a traditional pedestal desk.
