The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this Vintage Longines Wrist Watch to the 1950s.
This is an independent date report produced by Sellingantiques using its own proprietary system. The process uses the photographs shown on this page. The system is never told the date the dealer has declared. This report shows that the two dates corroborate.
The watch has a 17 jewel calibre 12.68Z hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 9,379,977 which dates it back to 1954.
The watch measures 34.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs.
The screw-on case back is signed with the Longines name on both the inside and outside, and it also has a past owner’s name. The case back also states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

Signed Longines winding crown.
The lens has light marking but you have to look closely to see it (some reflection showing in the photos).
The signed dial is in good condition with original hands.
A new brown leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a Longines presentation box.
