Antique Yew Wood Military Campaign Chest of Drawers

1920 - 1940
Description

A large and impressive antique yew wood military campaign chest of drawers. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.

It is of superb quality and has an absolutely gorgeous design. There is lots of storage space in the generous drawers which have have fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. There are very high quality brass handles and fixtures, the yew wood has a gorgeous colour tone and stunning grain patterns. The top has a cross banded edge, and the top section lifts off the bottom so this can be transported in two halves.

We have had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age with only some extremely minor wear here and there beneath the polish.

Depth – 16 inches , 41 cm

Height – 36 inches , 92 cm
