This early 19th-century mahogany side or dressing table displays a warm reddish-brown timber colour with a polished finish and a rich patina. The piece features three drawers across the frieze, fitted with round brass drop handles and central keyhole escutcheons, set above a shaped apron and standing on slender tapered legs with square block feet. The rectangular top has a subtle edge moulding, and the construction incorporates fine figuring to the drawer fronts. Practical dimensions of Height 76 cm, Width 102 cm, and Depth 47 cm allow the table to function as a compact desk, a console table in a hallway, or a dressing table in a bedroom today.
