This framed architectural artwork presents a sepia and brown watercolour perspective view of Three Kings House on Grosvenor Street and Davies Street in London, rendered in the manner of Cyril Arthur Fairey around 1925. The composition is set behind a wide cream mount and enclosed within a dark polished timber frame with gold inner edging and clear glass. Hand-lettered ink text at the foot of the drawing details the building name and addresses, complemented by figures along the street level and classical facade details. The overall piece measures 43 cm by 50 cm including the frame. Positioned in an Art Deco or gentleman's library interior, this piece suits placement above a sideboard or within a study. The neutral tones of the paper and ink wash integrate with traditional or transitional decor styles, offering a historical record of central London architecture from the interwar period. The framing protects the watercolour and ink medium while providing a finished edge ready for wall hanging.

Architectural watercolour perspectives were created by architects or professional draughtsmen to present proposed building designs to clients and planning committees prior to construction, illustrating structural proportions and aesthetic details in a realistic urban setting.

Draughtsmen typically used heavy cotton rag paper, india ink for precise structural linework, and layered wash techniques of watercolour or sepia pigment to define light, shadow, and material texture across the building facade.

Authentic period drawings feature hand-rendered ink lines, variable watercolour washes, subtle pencil guidelines, hand-lettered titles or addresses, and contemporary architect signatures or firm stamps on original rag paper.

Hang architectural drawings individually as a focal point above a sideboard or console table, or group them alongside monochrome prints to introduce historic context and classic structure to modern interiors.

Keep paper works away from direct sunlight, ensure framing incorporates acid-free mounting board and UV-protective glass, and maintain stable indoor humidity levels to prevent foxing or pigment fading over time.
