Description

Northwest persian soumak flat weave panel / rug, approximately 4'3" x 3'3", circa 1930. A hand-woven panel with polychrome bands of geometric and zoomorphic motifs, flanked by wide kilim strips at each end, and long fringes. Wool construction.

An attractive old rug, full of charm and ready for use.

Dimensions:

This rug measures approximately 135 cm long including fringes, and 105 cm wide.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in an overall good condition, commensurate with its age. Minor marks and blemishes. Vacuumed, deodorised, and treated for moth prevention. Clean and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
