Of traditional form, this fender stands out because of the wonderful patination that the brass surface has acquired over the years - unlike so many examples, this piece has not been over-cleaned and stripped of all signs of age. The leather is also nicely aged and slightly distressed in the right areas, creating a very sought-after effect.
