Edwardian walnut Wellington chest
This Edwardian walnut Wellington chest was made circa 1900.
Made by Matthew Rose & son, Hackney, S.E. London (makers label to rear)
The size is compact enough to fit into most spaces also large enough to provide good storage.
The 5 graduated drawers with the original cast brass handles are locked, by using the locking bar to the right-hand side that once unlocked opens on brass hinges.
The locking bar is reeded the full height and the system is convenient as you only require one key and action to lock or unlock all the drawers.
Wellington chests are fantastic items of furniture for the home as they can be used in most if not all rooms in your home or office.
Imagine the pride you will have as you show this to your family and friends.
