Outstanding Large Victorian Mahogany DeskThis Outstanding late 19th century Large Victorian Mahogany Desk / Pedestal desk dates from ca. 1900. It has a large inverted break-fronted top with tooled leather writing insert and gadrooned carved edge. This sits above a long central drawer over large knee-hole and each pedestal has four graduating drawers with original brass handles. The sides are curved and canted and this quality desk stands on Ogee carved bracket feet. It has unusual blind fretwork carvings, splits into three sections for removal and has wonderful charm and character.
