This charming 19thC, oil on canvas of a boy, dated 1878, with artists monogram MKP, depicts him holding an apple and a doll. It is framed in an ebonised wooden frame with gilded slip. It does have cracking to paint as can be seen in photos. It is in good overall countryhouse condition.
