This is a very rare and highly valuable example, another one sold at Bonhams ref source Bonhams in the The Goodwood Festival of Speed Sale in 2018 also Burbank California sale in 2009.

The casting is superb made from solid bronze with a nickel plate finish and chrome cap base.

Circa early 20th century Art Deco era 1930.

Having charming patina wear, scuffs, scratches, stains, weathering, rust, also a small handle is missing from the back which would of been screwed on, most of the nickel plate coating has worn away commensurate with usage & old age. You can easily get it restored if you want it looking mint, we love this original used worn patina look.
