A rare and large brass kettle on stand. Bearing no makers marks but dating to the mid 19th Century, this fabulous kettle twists to open, revealing a reservoir for a heating block. With a turned wooden handle and standing well on three feet. A substantial and high quality piece.
The condition is very good overall with once a few tiny indentations to the body and a small amount of surface wear due to age and use. The interior is also relatively clean for its age.
