Size: 8ft 3in x 3ft 10in (252 x 117cm).

Antique Caucasian Chajli long rug with all triple medallion design.

Circa 1880.

A good example of a Chajli long rug, with three large octagonal medallions on a dark indigo blue field framed by a classic madder red border. Note the numerous small animals through out the rugs and the tribal design elements.

The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium / low pile.

The rug is suitable for light domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
