Beautiful late Victorian Oak twin pedestal desk, by Edwards & Roberts (1845-1899), stamped, shaped superstructure with central hinged cover enclosing stationery compartments flanked by small drawers, the base with inset tooled and gilt writing surface above three frieze drawers, three further drawers to each pedestal, carved throughout with scrolling acanthus, plinth base.
The desk is offered in excellent antique condition, structurally sound with no evidence any woodworm.
