Antique Victorian Mahogany Leather Topped Writing Desk C1880 Wjm6131a/15.11

Description

Lovely antique victorian mahogany leather topped writing desk and dating from around 1880. Of quality mahogany it has a shaped back rail above a green leather embossed writing surface set within a mahogany moulded edge and above two drawers both of which are oak lined with turned mahogany knob handles. It stands on turned baluster legs on bun feet and joined by a ring turned stretcher.

In very good condition with a lovely warm mellow colour and patination to the mahogany oozing the charm and character of the victorian period.

Measures: 34.5" high to top rail X 30" to desk top X 19" deep X 42" wide
