Spectacular Quality Victorian Walnut Antique DavenportThis Spectacular Quality Late 19th Century Victorian Walnut Antique Davenport Desk dates from circa, 1870 and is in the piano top design. It has a decorative carved fretwork gallery above a beautifully curved shaped top and the interior has a pull out hinged writing slide with tooled leather insert, pen holder and inkwell. The two small drawers are beautifully figured and under the right drawer there is a small button that you press to release the back, that lifts to reveal several letter divides and two small drawer fronts. Below is four working drawers on one side and four faux drawers on the opposite with later Brass handles.
