This is the nicest & best quality purdonium that we have ever seen of it’s type. This piece would have been made for a very elegant late 19th century home and features a quality spindle turned and carved decoration. The piece is of such quality that it has received a Royal Letters Patent. The piece has also retained its original metal liner and would make a practical addition to the traditional home. If your house is decorated & furnished in this style, this is the place to keep your coal or anything else for that matter!
