Here we have a wonderful and very rare Art Deco solid Rosewood desk c1940. As you can see the desk has outstanding colour and patina. We have seen many of this type of desk in Oak and very occasionally in Walnut but this is the first we have seen in solid Rosewood. There is a remarkable single plank to the top cut from the heart of the tree and showing fantastic figure and grain. There are 6 flanking drawers again made from solid Rosewood including the sides and bases. There is a central drawer and pull out slides either side for extra workspace. The whole sits on stile legs. A superb piece of interior design in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 137 cm wide 70 cm deep 77 cm high.
