Spectacular rare early super king size marriage bed. Wall mounted head board c1800 made of aged fruit wood with gilded doves, crowns, foliate decoration and swags. Adze marks in back of head panel to confirm age. Could be supported/hung higher if greater impact required. Fabulous historic piece of furniture. Later frame has reeded fluted columns and acorn finials with gilded details. Suitable for super king size mattress 180cm x 200cm

The wall-mounted headboard features a high oval central medallion, an ornate carved giltwood crest with doves, crowns, swags, and foliate details, alongside Greek key fretwork and small decorative side finials. The later foot and head frames incorporate fluted turned posts, side rails, and upright acorn finials with gilded touches, and the bed is dressed with a pale cream throw over a quilted mustard-brown coverlet. The overall piece measures 180 cm high, 184 cm wide, and 227 cm deep, and accommodates a super king size mattress.
