Quality Victorian Mahogany Antique Pedestal Desk
This Quality Victorian Mahogany Antique Pedestal Desk dates from the late 19th century ca. 1880. It has a moulded top with green tooled leather writing insert above a central drawer, over knee hole. Each pedestal has four graduating drawers with decorative brass handles and this beautiful antique desk stands on a moulded plinth. It splits into three sections for easy removal, comes with wonderful charm, character and the Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
