This Superb quality late 19th century Victorian Oak Antique Desk dates from ca.1900 and is by the renowned makers Shapland and Petter.
This sits above a central drawer over kneehole and each pedestal has three Oak lined drawers all with moulded edges and brass pear drop handles. The pedestals sit on eight beautifully turned legs and have X frames cross stretchers for added stability. This quality antique desk is finished on the back so it can be placed in the centre of a room if desired. It has aged to a golden shade of Oak with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
