Quality Victorian Oak Antique Desk by Shapland and PetterThis Superb quality late 19th century Victorian Oak Antique Desk dates from ca.1900 and is by the renowned makers Shapland and Petter. It has a rectangular moulded top with tooled writing insert and two pull out slides on the sides of the desk for added work space. This sits above a central drawer over kneehole and each pedestal has three Oak lined drawers all with moulded edges and brass pear drop handles. The pedestals sit on eight beautifully turned legs and have X frames cross stretchers for added stability. This quality antique desk is finished on the back so it can be placed in the centre of a room if desired.
