Description

A semi-antique Persian Hamadan, handwoven rug, approximately 7'" x 4'3", Circa 1930. This charming rug has a charcoal coloured field with stepped medallion framed by spandrels, enclosed by angular vine borders. A hand knotted, rug with medium pile, short fringes to both ends. Wool pile and cotton foundations.

A good quality rug, full of character and signs of use, in a reasonably good condition and very much ready for use.

Dimensions:

This rug measures approximately 228 cm including fringes, and 129 cm wide.

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in reasonably good condition, commensurate with its age. Some wear to pile, namely through the centre. Fringes are good. Good even colour. A good regular shape for a handwoven rug. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
