Description

A semi-antique Persian Hamadan, handwoven rug, approximately 7'4" x 4'3", Circa 1930. This charming rug has a red field with all over design, ivory coloured spandrels, enclosed by multiple repeating narrow borders. A hand knotted, rug with medium pile, short fringes to both ends. Wool pile and cotton foundations.

A good quality rug, full of character and signs of use, in a reasonably good condition and very much ready for use.

This rug measures approximately 223 cm including fringes, and 130.5 cm wide.

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in reasonably good condition, commensurate with its age. Some wear to pile, namely through the centre. Fringes are good. Good even colour. A good regular shape for a handwoven rug. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
