Description

An antique Qashqai, handwoven rug, approximately 6'1.5" x 5', Circa C1900. This has a pale red field with blue pole single medallion, enclosed by multiple repeating narrow borders. A hand knotted, with short pile, short fringes to both ends. Wool pile and foundations.

A charming rug, full of character, in a reasonable condition and ready for use.

This rug measures approximately 187 cm including fringes, and 153 cm wide.

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in reasonable condition, commensurate with its age. The pile is quite low. Wear and little losses to either end. Some even fading of the colours. A good regular shape for a handwoven rug. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
