Description

An Afghan Tekke Turkmen Bukhara, handwoven rug, approximately 7' x 3'10", dating from the early C20th. This rug has a red field with 3 columns of 8 tekke gul medallions, framed by a repeating border. An hand knotted rug with, fringes to both ends. Wool pile and foundations.

Dimensions:

This rug measures approximately 213 cm long including fringes, and 116.5 cm wide.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in reasonably good condition, commensurate with its age. Some losses to both end fringes, and a little losses to the pile. A good regular shape for a handwoven rug. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
