Baggott & Co. has dated this Antique Mahogany Day Bed to the 19th Century.
The flaps in the 'up' position are supported by mahogany brackets which screw into place. The seat is newly upholstered in blue ticking, the front side it is finished to the mahogany rail, the reverse is over stuffed around the rail. Stands on square tapering legs and spade feet, the legs are reinforced with metal brackets.

77-90cm H, 198cm W, 72cm D.
Condition: The whole is of good solid construction and rather heavy with the metal brackets, there are signs of previous alterations to the construction. The upholstery is new.
