Edwardian Mahogany Antique Writing Desk
Dating from ca. 1910, this Edwardian Mahogany Antique Writing Desk has a rectangular moulded top with leather writing insert and stud trim. This sits above a central drawer over knee hole and is flanked by two smaller cock beaded drawers with decorative brass rococo swan neck handles. This superb antique writing table stands on elegant carved cabriole legs with beautiful ball and claw feet and the piece comes with wonderful charm and character. There is a key with working locks. The Mahogany has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
