A stunning Italian carved alabaster sculpture of female water carrier signed by the Italian artist Pugi.This sculpture is in very good condition with lovely detail.Gugielmo Pugi (1850- 1915) born in Fiesole a small town close to Florence. He was a highly regarded and skilled sculptor who specialised in female figures and busts.We are based in North Dorset, England and have been trading in antiques and decorative art for over 30 years.
