Antique Bijar runner of good size with traditional linked medallion design.

Circa 1890.

The runner has excellent soft warm colours with the terracotta red being highly sought after. The design is two large linked medallions each containing a smaller medallion. The ivory ground border with a flowering vine design frames the runner well.

The runner is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.

The runner has been hand washed and ready for use or display.

The runner is suitable for heavy domestic floor use. This is a classic runner with a real country house look.
