John Sherrin RI 1819-1896.Born in London,one of the few known pupils of William Hunt(1790-1864) he equalled his master as a painter of intimate compositions; exhibited 52 works at RI,15 at RA, 22 at the Walker Art Gallery ,Liverpool. ‘ Apples and Grapes ‘ signed watercolour,image size 28x40 cms,framed size 50x62 cms.Original decorative gilt plaster and wood frame with some losses. A very fine example of the artists work.
