An antique tekke bokhara, handwoven rug, approximately 4''11'' x 2''11'', dating from the late C19th. This rug has a pale red field with row of 3 tekke gul medallions, spandrels, framed by multiple repeating hooked pattern borders. An old hand knotted rug with, short fringes to both ends. Wool pile and foundations.
An old rug with lots of wear and signs of use, but full of charm and still ready for use.

This rug measures approximately 149 cm long including fringes, and 90 cm wide.

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in reasonable condition, commensurate with its age. Heavily worn to pile, and some losses to the fringes at both ends. A good regular shape for a handwoven rug. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
