Persian Mashad, handwoven rug, approximately 6''4'' x 4''4'', dating from the early mid C20th. This quality rug has a raspberry field of vines around a central medallion, framed by spandrels and carnation borders. An old hand knotted rug with, short fringes to both ends. Wool pile and cotton foundations.
A good quality rug, full of charm and character, and ready for use.
