Antique Victorian Art Nouveau Mahogany & Walnut Twin Pedastal Kneehole Desk C1890 Wdb6023/12.10

Description

Lovely antique victorian art nouveau mahogany & walnut twin pedastal desk and dating form around 1890. It has a moulded edge to the top above a central drawer with walnut front and original brass handle and shaped and carved frieze below. To either side of each pedastal is a reeded column carved to the top and the doors have a lovely carved panel to the top above a walnut fielded panel and with original brass handle and internal shelf. It stands on plinth base and is in one piece.

Measures: 31" high X 24" knee height X 23.5" deep X 48" wide

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany and walnut and oozes the charm and character of the victorian art nouveau period.
