John Hubbard Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The sides and drawer fronts all with boxwood inlay and satinwood banding.

Huge writing surface with burgundy hide top, gilt and blind embossed showing slight marks but overall, in very good condition.
Size: 60" x 29.1/2" x 32" high (152.5cm x 75cm x 81cm)
Kneehole: 29" high x 22" wide (74cm x 56cm)

Stock no: 4775
Circa 1930
Dealers note: This is a good quality desk and will suit a taller user due to its height and roomy kneehole. The age is, frankly, speculative, certainly 20th century not 19th. I've not seen this model before and it's likely a one off, bespoke for someone that needed a larger than normal desk, as it's about 2" higher than the norm. An excellent opportunity for a basketball player!
