Below, there is a small central drawer, flanked by two larger drawers either side, resting on two pedestal cupboards. Each pedestal comprises two drawers and a cupboard. The drawers feature dovetail construction, with mahogany drawer linings (sign of quality). The drawers also retain their original rectangular handles. The pedestals terminate on open bar shaped feet. This desk boasts classic Art Deco styling in the clean angular lines, handles, feet and geometric design. This is a single piece item.
The desk boasts a warm walnut colour. It has a fantastic colour and patinaton; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

Condition Report:
Here is a fine quality antique English Art Deco burr & figured walnut pedestal office desk, circa 1935, in excellent condition, which has been adapted from a dressing table. The desk has been cleaned and French polished by hand, to a professional standard, in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination are of an excellent standard. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and insides of drawers, but nothing significant considering the age of the item (see photos). There is no damage to the desk. The drawers retain their original handles. The drawers also feature dovetail construction and mahogany drawer linings, closing flush to the frame. This is a single piece desk; it does not dismantle into sections. The desk boasts a warm mellow walnut colour. It has a fantastic colour and patinaton; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received. This item is well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
