An antique Persian Heriz, handwoven runner, approximately 10''6'' x 4'', Circa 1920. This old runner has a madder coloured field with all over design, single central ivory coloured medallion, spandrels, enclosed by a single repeating narrow border. A hand knotted, rug with medium pile, short fringes to both ends. Wool pile and foundations.
A good quality period rug, with some flaws but full of character and ready for use.

This rug measures approximately 320 cm including fringes, and 112.5 cm wide.

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in reasonable condition, commensurate with its age. Some wear to the pile. Light frying to the sides. Losses to both ends. Few repairs, see pictures. A good regular shape for a handwoven rug. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
