Old Anatolian Sharkoy kilim, Western Turkey

Circa 1930

Sharkoy kilims are also known as Sarkoy or Thracian, they originate from Western Turkey or the region known as European Turkey or The Balkans.

The weave is very tight and fine, the design is typical of the region, note very light colours and the beautiful border

Excellent clear colours

Good large size

Very good condition with even wear.

Hand washed and ready for use.
