Antique Kirman rug of medallion design with soft colours.

Circa 1900.

This is a very good small rug of fine weave, the central medallion is of a very classical format and stands out well on the very soft coloured ground. The borders are of an attractive floral design. Small classical rugs of this size are not that common in the market today.

The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium pile. The rug has very soft wool and a floppy handle.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
