Description

Size: 10ft 10in x 8ft 2in (330 x 250cm).

Antique Heriz carpet with a scarce design and pleasing country house colours.

Circa 1900.

The carpet has an unusual design of a madder red ground, in the centre of the carpet is a very small medallion in soft green surrounded by a design in dark indigo blue. The field design is in soft pastel colours giving a warm and pleasing feel. The border on a dark indigo ground frames the carpet well.

An excellent antique furnishing carpet for that timeless country house look.

The Carpet is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.

The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use such as a living or dining room.

The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
