Description

Fine 19th Century French brass inlaid mahogany desk of exceptional quality. Having old tooled leather and brass moulding to the top and with seven brass inlaid and moulded drawers. The sides are also brass inlaid and brass moulded. Having two pull out slides on either side with tooled leather surfaces. All four corners are brass fluted with brass inlay. Terminating on eight, substantial brass fluted and brass moulded legs. Also brass inlay and brass mouldings are on the inside leg space. This desk is finished at the back to free stand if necessary. All linings are quality cut oak.

Outstanding workmanship has gone into making this desk and it would be difficult to make this today.
