Outstanding Brass Pompeji Kantharos Cup. This heavy brass cup was acquired from the estate of a late gentleman who acquired this cup in the 1930''s and is believed to be a collector''s item from the Grand Tour. It is a copy of an original cup discovered in Pompeji and now exhibiedt at the Archaeological Museum in Naples. It depicts Centaurs and it''s Putti attendants. Total weight ca 770 grams, height ca 13 cm and top diameter ca 11 cm.
