Tom Scott Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.

The slides give up to an extra 50cm each side.
The tulipwood has a wonderful colour and the contrasting hare wood inlays work beautifully with the vintage olive green leather top. The quarter veneer pattern to all sides and the legs with banded inlays on tapered legs with brass caps.

Five good size drawers, one with a working lock and key.
There is plenty of leg / kneehole area for sitting at on a typical desk chair, so this could certainly be suitable for an all day desk.
The olive green leather to the main top does have a couple of Gitanes scorch and age related marks, but in my opinion this adds to its character and all three panels have polished really well, the leather being fed and buffed…however, if you would rather have new leathers, please do let me know and I can arrange this for you and give you some colour options.
