Antique Regency Mahogany Writing Desk C1800 Wdb5020/1.9

Description

Antique regency mahogany writing desk and dating from aorund 1800. It has a later replacement green tooled leather top set within a mahogany cross banded surround and above a cross banded frieze to the front of the desk above an arched panelled kneehole with flamed mahogany door panel with working key which drops down to reveal interior shelf and storage space. To either side there are two drawers all of which are oak lined and with original brass handles. It stands on squared and tapering legs.

It is in very good condition with a lovely mellow colour and patination to the mahogany.

Measures: 32" high X 21" deep X 38.5" wide X knee height 26"
